First Day of School AND My Son's Birthday...AND A Scraplift

Hello everyone! I feel like I've been on vacation or something from my blog! I just realized that I haven't posted in a while, but the thing is...I HAVE BEEN NONSTOP CRAFTIN'!!! LOL My sweet sons decided that they wanted cards to give their teachers on the first day of school (today). Well, that's great, and I have taught them well to butt kiss, but my oldest now has FIVE teachers!! I was already making a card for my friend who is the new principal at my sons' school, so that is SEVEN cards! Anyhoo, I really didn't feel like reinventing the wheel on this one and I had recently seen the cutest "school themed" card EVER by Nikki at ScrappinNavyWife.  I tried to change it up a bit, so I wasn't a TOTAL copycat...lol. I just love how they turned out.

I just welded two apples together with my Gypsy, cut out the adorable little worm from Create a Critter and added the face with my Peachy Keen medium critter face stamps.  I used Papertrey Ink cardstock, some faux stitching, buttons, and voila, done! I had added ribbon on some of the other ones, but I guess I must have picked the one that didn't get "ribbonized"...lol...to take a pic of! Oh, well. I still think it's cute!

Now, if that wasn't enough, TODAY is my baby's birthday! He is NINE today! I can't believe my baby Jackson is NINE!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACKSON!!!!!!

I made him breakfast in bed this morning and made the cutest placemat ever, but I should've taken pictures BEFORE breakfast. Needless to say, it was pretty trashed by the time he was done! I had cut a big trampoline from Everyday Paper Dolls and put it in the middle to give him a visual of his gift that is getting put together this weekend. He was soooo excited!

Enough of my rambling! I have been a mad woman with my Gypsy and have all sorts of projects going, so I am going to get back to work! Jackson's party is this weekend and my BFF's little girl's birthday is this week, so I have LOTS to do! I hope you all are having a FABULOUS week!

Buggy hugs,
 Kimmy xoxo
